“There can be no white spaces in the sky” my kindergarten art teacher once told me as she critiqued my coloring skills. I still think about this moment. Not as a rule about coloring, but as a challenge to redefine. Today, I’ve built my creative skillset around embracing out-of-the-box ideas, creating work I know the little artist in me would admire.
I believe that life is all about.....
- seeing a cute dog in public
- watching movies, shows, and reading books that make you feel something
- spending time with people who make you feel seen and loved
- good music
- drinking your coffee outside when the weather's nice
- finding inspiration in the details
- taking advice from your parents and grandparents
- being kind to others
- giving yourself a break when you need it
- not taking things too seriously
- beautiful art, both old and new
- & good ads (of course)
